Privacy policy
Information handled by the game
This Journey is an offline, single-player story game by Haute Press. The game does not send your personal information, story choices, or usage activity to Haute Press or third parties. It has no advertising, analytics, tracking, account system, or cloud synchronization.
Data on your device
Your progress, choice history, journal entries generated by your choices, save-slot names, discovered endings, and reading preferences are stored locally on your device. These records support automatic saving, separate journeys, chapter rereading, and your reading settings. Save-slot names are entered by you. Journal entries come from the story; they are not a free-text diary.
The Android app uses WebView storage within its own app storage, requests no device permissions, and disables Android app backup. There is no save export or developer access to your local journeys. Someone who can open the game on your unlocked device may be able to see them.
Retention and deletion
Your local data stays until you remove it. Delete an individual journey in Save slots. Deleting or restarting a slot preserves shared reading settings and discovered endings.
To remove all game data, clear this app’s storage in Android Settings or uninstall it. This removes your progress. Haute Press cannot restore your local saves because no copy is sent to Haute Press.
Google Play and Android
Google Play and Android may separately process information for distribution, account management, diagnostics, or other platform services under their own policies and your device settings. Their processing is separate from the game’s offline storage.
Feedback you choose to send
The game does not automatically send feedback or bug reports. If you submit feedback through Google Play or another service, the submission may include the information you choose to provide and is separate from your offline game data.

This policy describes the This Journey Android game. It does not describe the data practices of the other games in the Haute Press collection.
